With two-goal, one assist effort, senior midfielder Keith Long finished his day with three points, but it was not enough as the VMI lacrosse team fell 12-4 in its 2012 home opener against Saint Joseph's University.

Six school records fell as the VMI women's swimming and diving team competed in a tri-meet against Howard and North Carolina A&T Saturday at Clark King Pool in Lexington. The Keydets (0-6) dropped both ends of the meet, losing 139-95 to North Carolina A&T and 137-81 to Howard. Howard went 2-0 on the day, knocking off NC A&T 132.5-110.5.
